September has brought one of the most exciting months, as we started our grape harvest! Many years work has accumulated to this moment and we couldn’t be happier with the quality and quantity of fruit.
As we speak, we are over 70% through the harvest, the Pinot Noir Précoce is all safely in the winery, along with the majority of the Solaris. Just some beautiful Seyval Blanc bunches to pick in the next 2 weeks.
We would just like to thank all those who have volunteered so far to help us pick, we really couldn’t do it with out you, and it is such a wonderful moment watching the local community come together to experience the comradery and joys of harvest time! Luckily, we have had some amazing weather coupled with some delicious food from Lorraine (Mum), it really has been a pleasure.
