Vineyard update – June 2026
Introducing our NEW Non-Vintage Red made from 100% Pinot Noir Precoce

In the vineyard

Wow, it sure has been a hectic few months at the vineyard! It’s amazing how quickly the vines grow when they enjoy a week long heatwave followed by plenty of rain. We must thank our team of volunteers who have helped us get through the mammoth task of shoot thinning followed by wire lifting. Both are really important tasks to create more airflow through the canopy and to allow our grapes to ripen to their full potential! So, thank you volunteers and friends – we couldn’t do it without you!

Thanks to the hot weather, we look on track for an early flowering and therefore potentially an early harvest as well – exciting times ahead!

In the bottle

We are absolutely delighted to introduce to you our brand new non-vintage Red Pinot Noir Précoce! We first made a red from the 2022 harvest, which subsequently sold out pretty quickly! And we are even more excited about this new rendition. It is made up of 100% Pinot Noir Précoce, harvested over 2 years, the 2024 vintage makes up 36% of the blend and the remaining 64% is from 2025. The 2024 has been aged in oak barrels and gives the wine a wonderful structure, all the lush fruit character comes from the marvellous vintage of 2025. Full of strawberry, raspberry and blackberry rounded off with some light tannins, makes this a seriously easy drinking red.

Now available to purchase here, run don’t walk!

What people have to say…
"Trend label. Fresh and curranty. Tastes almost like a Bacchus. Good grip on the palate - a wine with real drive. Well done! A good mouthful of ripe fruit"
Jancis Robinson, Financial Times 4th September 2025
